Join us at the Aspire Youth – Careers Fair on Saturday 1st November 2025, at the OBA Millennium Centre, Oldham.

Doors open: 11am
Event closes: 3pm

Meet employers, colleges, and professionals from healthcare, law, business, trades, tech, and creative industries.
Parents and carers are welcome to attend — all young people aged 14–18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Known as “Khoyfol” (খয়ফল) in Bangla, papaya is a much-loved fruit in Bangladesh — enjoyed for its refreshing taste, nutritional benefits, and its place in traditional meals and remedies.

It’s amazing to see our volunteers growing plants that carry such rich cultural and traditional value! 🇧🇩

From the Garden to the Plate

Our Yuvanis Community Garden continues to thrive — and so does our connection to culture and heritage!

These fresh green beans, grown and nurtured by our volunteers, were recently harvested and cooked into a traditional Bangladeshi dish known as “Uri Bazi.”

Through our gardening project, both young people and adults have had the opportunity to learn about growing food, explore their cultural roots, and share traditional gardening methods and recipes passed down through generations.

We’ve got some big plans for our garden next year. Watch this space!
