Last week at our Cozy Cuppa session, our ladies came together to work on a large embroidery project, celebrating heritage, culture and creativity through every stitch.

Through creativity and conversation, the session supported mental wellbeing, strengthened social connections, and created a space for peer support and friendship within our community.

Women’s Hike – Hollingworth Lake

Location: Hollingworth Lake, Littleborough
Date: Thursday 18 June
Time: 9.45 AM
Distance: Approx. 2.5 miles
Duration: Around 2 hours
Meeting Point: 8 Chapel Street, Shaw, Oldham, OL2 8AJ

This is a moderate walk with some uneven terrain and inclines, so please come prepared.

What to bring/wear:
• Suitable walking clothing and comfortable footwear/trainers or hiking boots
• A light waterproof/showerproof jacket depending on the weather
• Water bottle to stay hydrated
• Small snacks if needed
• Any personal medication you may require

Please try to arrive 10 minutes early so we can start on time together.

It was wonderful to see so many young gardeners getting hands-on with soil, seeds, and nature. From planting to learning about how things grow, the enthusiasm and smiles made the day truly special.
